Twin Engine Heavy Fighter Tigercat

The F7F Tigercat was designed at the end of the Second World War, the aircraft first flight was in 1943. Although the aircraft never been in action the in World War Two, it was put to use in the Korean War as a heavy fighter and reconnaissance aircraft. Tigercat was equipped with two Pratt & Whitney R-2800 engines which allowed the aircraft reach speeds of 740 Km/h and carry multiple guns and bombs. Over three hundred and sixty aircrafts were built but it was retired in 1954.
