Tsunami Racing Aircraft
Designed by aviation enthusiast John Sandberg and a team of talented engineers in 1986. The aircraft was single seat monoplane, built to break a three kilometer aviation records with the help of a powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin V-12 engine, capable of reaching 800 km/h. The aircraft was not able to break the record and won only one race. In 1991, while returning from a racing event, Tsunami crashed due to mechanical failure. That crash killed its pilot which was one of its designers John Sandberg.
