The Iconic PIPER J-3 CUB
Since 1938, J-3 CUB is stealing hearts of pilots all over the world. Build by C. Gilbert Taylor and the Piper company, the aircraft was mainly used as a civilian aircraft but it was deployed by the United States Airforce during the Second World War. Even some civilian aircrafts were used to patrol the eastern coast of the United States during the war. The legendary monoplane ended production in 1947 but flew and served long after that and a not that small number of these aircrafts fly to this day.
