Flying Crane Sikorsky Helicopter
Sikorsky S-60 was a helicopter based from its predecessor S-56 and was developed as a cargo helicopter which first flew in 1959. The helicopter was capable of carrying five tons of cargo which was possible thanks to two Pratt and Whitney R-2800 engine. The S-60 had a unique design of its fuselage that has only a cockpit without a cabin which was replaced by tha cargo that the helicopter carried. Unfortunately the helicopter only had one prototype which crashed in 1961, but was replace by helicopters Sikorsky CH-54 and S-64 Skycrane.
