Amphibious Aircraft PBY Catalina
The first flight for PBY Catalina was in 1935 and started its production year later in 1936. The amphibious aircraft served under the United States Navy until the end of war when the production of the aircraft ended. The Navy used Catalina as a patrol bomber during the war in the Pacific Ocean. Over three thousand aircrafts were built by the United States and the remaining functional aircrafts are still used to this day for aerial firefighting.
