The Canadair CL-415 is a Canadian amphibious aircraft used for water bombing. The aircraft first flew in 1993 and entered service in 1994, turboprop-powered amphibious flying boat which is capable of scooping water from lakes, rivers, and coastal areas to fight forest fires. CL-415 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney turboprop engines that allow the aircraft to carry ove six thousand litres of water. The flying boat is used around the world, including Canada, France, and Italy.
