In the sky since 1936 the DOUGLAS DC-3 is a American airliner aircraft build by the Douglas Aircraft Company. The DC-3 was mainly praised for its speed, passenger capacity and comfort. The aircraft was able to fly from New York to Los Angeles in eighteen hour with three stops. DC-3 is in use to this day, in civil and military aviation as a cargo transport, military transport, passanger transport and also used by skydivers.
