Supersonic Airliner Concorde

The Concorde was a supersonic jet that was jointly developed by British Aerospace and Aérospatiale. It was capable of flying at speeds up to Mach 2.04, thanks to four Rolls-Royce Olympus 593 engines. The aircraft was used primarily for transatlantic flights between London and New York, with a typical flight time of just under 3.5 hours. The Supersonic airliner entered commercial service in 1976 and was discontinued in 2003 due to maintenance costs and a tragic crash during takeoff in 2000.
