Charles Lindbergh

A pilot, inventor and a military officer Charles Lindbergh from United States became the most famous aviator of his time thanks to this incredible achievement that changed the world of aviation forever. In 1927 at age 25 Lindbergh flew nonstop across the atlantic from New York to Paris. The flight was 33 hours long. Lindbergh flew in a Spirit of St. Louis which is a custom build, single seat monoplane built by Ryan Airlines. The succses of his nonstop flight began a new age of transportation between America and Europe.
