A Forgotten Naval World War 2 Hunter - The SEA WOLF
Conceived in the early 1940s as a torpedo bomber, the aircraft featured a streamlined fuselage, impressive speed for its class, and the ability to carry a substantial bomb or torpedo load. The Sea Wolf was powered by a single Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp engine, capable of producing over 2,000 horsepower. With a maximum speed approaching 500 km/h, it was considerably faster than its competition the Avenger.
